Individual and group counseling...
Counselors intervene on behalf of students whose immediate personal concerns or problems put their continued educational development at risk. Counselors also consult with teachers, parents, and administrators on behalf of students. Counseling issues that can be addressed on an individual basis or in the group setting are wide ranging. Some examples are school attitudes and behaviors, test anxiety, peer relationships, study skills, bullying, conflict resolution, death of a family member or pet, and divorce. School counselors work with a student on a short term basis and do not work with students in a clinical or therapeutic role.
